A short blue light. A beep. And then nothing.
Behind the port. On the board itself.
One of them is broken. That is the one we look for.
We repair. You keep your own console, your games and your storage.
PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo. No picture, no start, stick drift or moisture. You can post it to us from anywhere in Belgium.
No picture, a short blue light, stick drift or moisture damage. We repair the board itself with microsoldering. You keep your own console, your games and your storage.
Almost nobody searches for motherboard. People search for what they see. Below is what customers tell us, and what is usually going on.
It starts up, you hear the fan, the light is on. Your screen stays black, whichever cable you try.
HDMI chip or portRead what is brokenA beep, a blue or white light that pulses, and within a few seconds it switches itself off again.
Voltage on the boardRead what is brokenYour character walks to the left on its own. Your aim slides away while you are not touching the stick. DualSense, Joy Con and Xbox controllers all suffer from it.
Potentiometer or Hall sensorRead what is brokenThe cable sat at an angle, or someone tripped over it. Sometimes you see it straight away, sometimes only under the microscope.
Port replacementRead what is brokenCola, a knocked over glass, a leaking windowsill. Moisture keeps eating away until the board gives up, even weeks later.
Cleaning and repairRead what is brokenHalfway through a match, always at the worst moment. Sometimes with an error code, sometimes just black.
Heat or power supplyRead what is brokenA console rarely breaks completely. Usually one connection is broken. A solder joint a few tenths of a millimetre across, a trace that has burnt through, a chip that no longer gets power.
Hold the button down and watch what happens to the broken trace. Let go and it drops back, just like solder that cools down before it bonds.
You always hear first what it is and what it costs. Nothing is repaired before you say yes.

You get an email telling you how to pack and send it safely. You can also drop it off, Monday to Saturday.
We open it, measure through the board and call or email you what is broken and what it costs.
Repaired, tested for hours and sent back to you insured. Twelve months warranty on the work.
From the newest PlayStation to a Wii in the attic. If there is a board in it, we can work on it.
These are guide prices including VAT and including parts. After the diagnosis you get the exact price. If it does not appeal to you, we simply send it back.
If the repair does not work out, you do not pay for the repair. Only the diagnosis and the return postage still apply.
Most shops swap a module and see if that helps. We measure through the board, find the fault and repair exactly that. That is the difference between a console that works again and a console that comes back in three months.
That is the question we get most often. You are not sending a box of clothes, you are sending a device worth hundreds of euros. So first you get a short set of instructions from us: which box, how much padding, and what to do with the drive and the cables.
The shipment is insured, both ways. You get a message as soon as your console arrives, and another one when it is on its way back to you.
At a shop that swaps modules, often yes. With repair on the board, almost never. An HDMI port is around 99 euros, an HDMI chip around 149. A new console costs many times that, and you still do not have your old storage.
You hear the price after the diagnosis and before we start. If you think it is too much, we send it back untouched.
Then you do not pay for the repair. Some boards are so badly damaged that a repair no longer makes sense, usually after long term moisture damage. In that case we simply tell you, with photos, and you pay only the diagnosis and the return postage.
Yes. That is exactly why repair on the board exists. Your drive stays in your own console, and we do not touch it. Your saves, your screenshots, your installed games and your accounts are all still there after the repair.
With an exchange through the manufacturer you lose all of that, because you get a different unit back.
Count on two to five working days from the moment it arrives. An HDMI port is often quicker, heavy moisture work takes longer because the board has to dry and is then tested for days. If you are in a hurry, say so, and we will see what is possible.
Within warranty that is often the smartest move. Out of warranty their answer is almost always an exchange, and that costs you your unit, your storage and usually more money.
We do the work they do not do: finding the fault on the board and repairing that one connection.
Yes, and it is one of our busiest repairs. Drift comes from wear in the potentiometer of the stick. We replace the module, and on most controllers we can fit Hall sensors. Those do not wear out, so the drift does not come back either.
Works on DualSense, Joy Con and Xbox controllers.
You do not need to know what is broken. Just describe what you see and hear, and we will work it out. You get an answer within one working day with the shipping instructions and a guide price.
